A Miami-based company has completed extensive renovations of a 240-unit apartment complex in South Austin, which has been rebranded as The Atlantic Grand Oaks.

Atlantic/Pacific Cos. purchased the community at 9323 Manchaca Road in February 2012, which previously had been named The Crossing after it was built in 2000.

Atlantic/Pacific did not disclose the amount spent on the remodeling. The property is valued at $20.2 million, according to the Travis Central Appraisal District.

HPA Design Group of Dallas handled the design and Bartley Construction of Bastrop was the contractor.

Atlantic/Pacific Cos. have one other holding in Austin — Logans Mill Apartments at 1912 E. William Cannon Drive. That property also was acquired in February 2012. Its appraised value is $11.9 million.
